Yahoo's BrowserPlus to go open source
Sticking to its open initiative, Yahoo has announced that it will be making the BrowserPlus platform open source by mid-2009. Focused on the desktop market and working with Internet Explorer 6, 7, Safari 3, Chrome (beta) and Firefox 2 and 3, BrowserPlus allows developers to quickly create new rich web applications.
